Living Well With Assistance: Vail Voice
Vail Voice (March, 2017, p. 35) published an article on considering Assisted Living for parents. Written by Gary Fenstermacher, CEO of Academy Services Corporation, Gary begins with his own experiences: “For many of us, the last thing we think about as we age is being elderly. As I recall my own middle age, I had little idea of the very different world my parents were experiencing as they moved through their fifties and sixties, on into their seventies and eighties. Perhaps it is not too surprising that I was so unaware; my own world at the time was consumed by family and work. And my parents spoke hardly at all about what they were experiencing as they aged. . .” See more here.
