Overview —
The Wellness Program was created for all members of the Arizona Senior Academy to provide a comprehensive wellness advocacy program. The program focuses on health education, case management, screening, and targeted intervention for disease prevention and wellness promotion. Most services are funded through a monthly assessment via the Arizona Senior Academy.
You may have health-related questions. You may want to learn more about a specific medical issue or need a referral for a doctor or a therapist. You never know when having a question answered, attending an informational lecture, or having a licensed medical professional available can make a difference. This kind of wellness support is not usually available to residents in most active adult communities.
Experienced licensed professionals, or independent contractors, provide quality wellness and health-related services. In situations where extra care is deemed necessary, these professionals can recommend a home-healthcare provider. Many of the decisions and worries that accompany such times can be reduced with their help.
The fitness director, usually an independent contractor, provides classes through the Homeowner Association that support your personal fitness goals. Currently, the Wellness Program professionals are available five days a week by appointment. Please click on the Wellness Services link to see a partial list of services available.
