Residents and Dues
The Academy Village community is a diverse, supportive, and welcoming group of neighbors who have discovered a new way of retiring. The Village is a 55+ Planned Community regulated by IRS, Chapter 16. Three organizations provide services to homeowners. The first two require dues from residents:
The Academy Village Homeowners Association (AVHOA): The monthly dues are $245/month per lot.
The Arizona Senior Academy (ASA): The required monthly dues are $75 per resident aged 60 and older, and residents under 60 may become members by voluntarily paying dues.
The Academy Services Corporation (ASC) is a support organization of the ASA, providing support services to members of the ASA. These services currently support assisted living in the Academy Villas. All services are fee-based.
There are 21 lots that are unsold at this time. They are being built by Miramonte At Altura.
